		Reworked selected activities from an existing hands-on program to become a new unit covering New York state middle school life science standards.
		Edited existing activities to meet new standards. Added new activities as needed to complete coverage of the NY state standards.
		Added a standards-based assessment feature to each activity and to the unit as a whole.
		Tested activities and prepared a final list of kit materials.
		Developed art specs and reviewed all rendered art.
		Processed all rounds of page proof.
